Manufacture de Digoin – founded in 1875, closed in 2003; reawoken by Corinne Jourdain seven years later.
Most people seeking a change of career don’t buy declining stoneware factories but, thankfully, that’s the path Corinne chose.
After learning the skills required to craft beautiful stoneware from her small team, Corinne updated the Manufacture’s classic designs through an inspiring use of colours.
The stoneware clay, which is prepared entirely inside the Manufacture’s workshops, comes from natural mineral materials originating in France.
Each piece is unique because all are hand-made, enamelled by hand and marked with the stamp of the Manufacture into unbaked clay.
